We sell new candles in repurposed glass pots and refillable glass match jars to keep by your fireplace. We sell slate plant tags for your seedlings made from rescued vintage slate tiles and recycled tissue papers for gift wrapping. And more products are sourced and added every month.

Verdesca operates from a location in north Northamptonshire in the UK. We do not have a store location, though we do offer local delivery within the LE16, LE17 and NN6 postcode areas of England.

All the fabric products vary in fabric and many are handmade, meaning they are more delicate than a mass produced, factory made item. They aren't going to take a full wash cycle every week!!

A gentle wipe to get rid of any immediate issues will be fine. For any persistent dirt, try a wipe with a dampened light coloured cloth. Failing that a wash in the machine at 40 degrees C 'delicates' followed by an overnight stay in the airing cupboard with the hot water cylinder.

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can return any item, even if you just change your mind, as long as you notify Verdesca within 14 days of your order, and you return the item (at your cost) to Verdesca within a further 14 days. The item must be returned in a re-sellable condition. If the item is returned as described, a full refund of the purchase price plus your initial delivery cost, will be refunded to you.

If the item is misdescribed or damaged in transit, your rights are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You can return the item to Verdesca, detailing the damage, within 30 days of purchase, and receive a full refund of your purchase price, the delivery cost and the return postage. Please contact us quickly if you feel this is the case, as we want our customers to be happy with their new purchases, and we will try to remedy the issue as quickly and fairly as possible. We operate in a small office and workshop in Welford, Northamptonshire and our property is powered by solar panels on the roof and topped up with green energy provided by our electricity supplier. Our energy supplier confirms it has 100% green energy through its Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificates, from British energy suppliers, and invests heavily in their own wind, solar, and hydro projects.

We recycle as much as we can, using waste fabrics as far as possible.

We minimise the use of plastic packaging as much as we can, and items shipped to you will be shipped in cardboard, and some of the packing materials in the boxes may be recycled from deliveries to us - so forgive us for using pre-loved paper products in your delivery!
