Verdesca has been born out of a passion to reduce waste, reuse the things we have, give things a new life, and avoid buying new. We love recycling, repurposing, reusing and re-homing items. Minimising waste and maximising style.

All products at Verdesca are new or refurbished all ready for their new home.

Our beautiful blankets are made from recycled cotton. Made from off-cut fabric from clothing manufacture, shredded and re-spun, then woven into these wonderful, soft and endurable blankets.

Our table runners are made from rescued fabric from homes, personal projects and local re-upholsterers. Designs are dependant upon the weight and size of the fabric pieces. All are handmade in our workshop in Northamptonshire, UK, made under our PrettyWittyNatty handmade fabrics brand. Our peg bags and door stops are also handmade under this brand.

Our candle & matches brand Phoenix Candles uses recycled glass. Glass pots are repurposed into candle jars, saving them from landfill. If the glass was recycled, the amount of energy needed to melt and recycle them would be huge. Simply repurposing the jars, giving them a new life, making them into something lovely, saves energy and minimises waste.
